Ketut Kantor 08/08/2023 at 12:25 am The area be max when size of base equal size of high,then 400=1/2b² b²=800 b=√800 =20√2 so h=20√2 Length of hypotenuse =√(b²+h²) =√(800+800) =√1600 =40inches Reply
Area of a right triamgle is maximum when the two perpendicular sides, base and height are ewual.
Area= 1/2(h^2}
400=1/2(h^2)
h^2=800
h=√800
=20√2
h²/4 = 400
h² = 2²*20²
h = 40 in
The area be max when size of base equal size of high,then
400=1/2b²
b²=800
b=√800
=20√2
so h=20√2
Length of hypotenuse
=√(b²+h²)
=√(800+800)
=√1600
=40inches
